The BEMB Trust, a fully registered Charity first set up in 1971, promotes and sponsors research into egg production, marketing and education.

BEMB TRUST sponsors new Nuffield Scholar to study IPPC - both technical and economic feasibilities

BEMB TRUST sponsors 4-year PhD Project at VLA - wet litter syndrome

BEMB TRUST backs development of rational inactivated vaccines against E.coli

BEMB Trust puts further funding into red mite research at Moredun

 

The Trust is managed by 5-6 Trustees and a Secretary/Administrator. Collectively the Trustees provide expertise in the following areas:

Top level poultry science
Large scale mainstream egg production
Alternative systems of egg production
Egg packing
EC political (egg) policy
