About the BEMB Research & Education Trust
The British Egg Marketing Board Trust, a fully registered Charity first set up in 1971, promotes and sponsors scientific research into hen and duck egg production and marketing.
The Trust's funds are limited but research is sponsored under the following headings:
PhD Projects
Nuffield Farming Scholarship
Other specific projects
The Trust is managed by 5-6 Trustees and a Secretary.
Collectively the Trustees provide expertise in the following areas:
Top level poultry science
Large scale mainstream egg production
Alternative systems of egg production
Egg packing
EC political (egg) policy
